Privacy Policy — Robin Bedtime Stories

Robin Bedtime Stories ("the app") is a calm reading companion for children aged 6 to 10. We built it with a simple promise: bedtime should be private. The app has no account, no sign-in, and no analytics. All stories and audio are bundled in the app and play fully offline. The only time the app talks to the internet is to process and restore an optional one-time in-app purchase (see "Purchases" below).

What we collect

No personal information. The app does not collect, transmit, or upload your name, email, contacts, location, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or telemetry. There is no tracking and no advertising.

The only data that leaves the device is the in-app purchase transaction described under "Purchases", and only if you choose to buy or restore the premium unlock.

What we store locally on your device

To remember your preferences between sessions, the app saves the following settings in the operating system's local preferences storage. This data never leaves the device.

You can erase all of this instantly by deleting the app — there is no cloud copy.

Purchases

The app offers a single optional one-time purchase that unlocks all stories ("premium unlock"). It is not a subscription. Every purchase must be confirmed in the store's own purchase sheet (Face ID, Touch ID or the account password).

The purchase itself is handled by Apple's App Store (or Google Play on Android). Your payment details are managed entirely by Apple/Google — we never see or store them.
To unlock content and let you restore your purchase on a new device, the app uses RevenueCat, a third-party purchase-management service. When you buy or restore, the store purchase receipt and an anonymous app-user identifier generated by RevenueCat are processed to confirm your entitlement. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any contact information. RevenueCat also uses these purchase records to give us aggregated sales reports (for example, how many unlocks were sold); the reports contain no personal information.
This is the only feature that connects to the internet. If you never purchase or restore, the app makes no network calls.

What we share

We do not share data with advertising networks, analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or marketing partners. The app contains no advertising or third-party tracking code. Purchase information is shared only with Apple/Google and RevenueCat to process and restore your purchase and to produce aggregated sales reports, as described above.

Children's privacy

The app is designed for children aged 6 to 10 and is built to comply with Apple's and Google's kid-directed guidelines:

No Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) is requested or used.
No third-party advertising or analytics SDKs are bundled.
No user-generated content, no chat, no social features.
The optional in-app purchase can only complete after the store's own confirmation (Face ID, Touch ID or the Apple / Google account password), so a child cannot buy it unintentionally. Parents can also require approval for every purchase with Apple Screen Time (Ask to Buy) or Google Play parental controls.
The age entered during onboarding is optional and used only on the device to tailor tone; it is never transmitted.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The only data processed off-device is the anonymous purchase transaction above, which contains no personal identifiers.

Third-party services

Text-to-speech — the operating system's built-in engine (Apple AVSpeechSynthesizer on iOS) via the open-source flutter_tts package. Runs entirely on the device; no spoken text is sent anywhere.
RevenueCat — purchase management, used only for the in-app purchase and restore flow (see "Purchases").

No other third-party SDK is included.

Your rights

Because the app collects no personal information, there is no personal profile to access, correct, or delete. Uninstalling the app removes every locally stored preference. For purchase records, you can manage your purchase history through your Apple/Google account. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us.
